Fire service vehicles seem to make great collector cars - studiously maintained utility vehicles with low mileage, and not left to sit unattended for long periods of time.

Some make good collectors cars, though very few.
Quite a few British fire engines end up donated to fire services in eastern Europe, South Africa or Asia.
